Why every cabin carries the name of a flower

لماذا يحمل كل كوخ اسم زهرة

Ful, Kadi, Khuzama, Rayhan, Ward, Arar. Six names our grandmothers would recognise.

Before Jasmine had a logo, it had a smell. The first thing anyone remembered about the garden was the jasmine hedge by the gate, the way it reaches you before you see it.

So when it came to naming the cabins, numbers felt wrong. A cabin is not a unit. It is the place you will remember a weekend by. We chose six plants that grow across the Kingdom, from the rose terraces of Taif to the juniper on the southern mountains, and gave each cabin one.

Ward and Arar stand side by side and share a door. Khuzama is the quietest, tucked behind the olive trees. Ful is the first you reach, and the one whose hedge started it all.
